Man threatens Springfield Walmart workers, tells them they will be executed for administering vaccines

Livestreaming on Facebook, a man known online as the "vaccine police" harassed pharmacists at a Walmart in Springfield — saying the workers would be "executed" for administering the COVID-19 vaccine.

Invited from Alabama to last week's Mercy hospital rally, Christopher Key is an entrepreneur who came to prominence after convincing Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis to use his "deer antler spray" to treat his injury.

In recent months, Key has been speaking out against the COVID-19 vaccine. And since the Saturday rally, he has been in Springfield.

Monday evening, Key and his "Missouri crew" entered the Walmart Supercenter west of Springfield on Sunshine Street. Making a beeline to their pharmacy, Key yelled that he was putting the store's workers "on notice."

By the time Key and his group of about a half dozen reached the pharmacy, staff had locked the door, closed the window, and were hiding in the room.

Self-proclaimed ‘Vaccine Police’ tells Walmart pharmacists they ‘could be executed’ for administering shots

By Jaclyn Peiser
Today at 6:32 a.m. EDT

By the time Christopher Key and his half-dozen followers reached the Springfield, Mo., Walmart pharmacy counter on Monday evening, the metal shutters were nearly fully drawn.

An Alabama-based anti-vaxxer who has gained a following online — where he spreads false information about the coronavirus pandemic, Key was on a mission to give the pharmacists inoculating shoppers a warning.

“What they’re doing is crimes against humanity,” he said in a live stream on Facebook. “And if they do not stand down immediately, then they could be executed. They can be hung in the state.”

Key, who did not immediately respond to The Washington Post’s request for comment early Thursday, was invited to Springfield for an anti-vaccine rally this past Saturday, according to the Springfield News-Leader, which first reported the Walmart incident. Videos on Key’s Facebook page show he also spoke at a Springfield Public Schools board meeting and made the rounds to other pharmacies, where he bombarded workers with similar false rhetoric.

The stunts in Missouri come as the state remains a covid hot spot. Its death rate is among the worst in the country.

'Once police arrived at the scene, Key and his group changed their story — telling the police the group had come to Walmart to get vaccinated and were refused.

"We're here to get our vaccine and for some reason they shut down the doors and all I want to do is get my vaccines," Key told the police. "All I want is my vaccine. So I'm trying to figure out why the pharmacy is closed down because we all here want to get a vaccine."

Based on Key's livestream, the police officer told the group he "didn't know about the vaccine situation" but Key would need to leave. He added Walmart "doesn't want you here and they have the right to refuse your business."

In response, Key claimed to be a victim of "discrimination" and threatened to sue both Walmart and the police officers present.

Before leaving, Key told the remaining Walmart workers he "would be back." '

The scummyness of these people is breathtaking.

The zany story of two self ordained sports science entrepreneurs

SI STAFF JAN 28, 2013

On the two nights before the Jan. 9, 2012, BCS national championship game, a handful of Alabama players in crimson and gray sweats made their way to room 612 in the New Orleans Marriott. A few brought family members, but most arrived in clusters with teammates. They came in search of an edge.

The room belonged to Christopher Key, who was in town to demonstrate the wares of S.W.A.T.S. -- Sports with Alternatives to Steroids -- a two-man company run out of the back of a gym near Birmingham. Stocky and genial, with short black hair carefully curled at his forehead, Key began by telling the players that there would be thousands of cellphones in the Superdome the following night and that frequencies from those phones would be swirling through their bodies. "They're going to affect you guys very negatively," Key said rapidly and with a twang. "We figured out a way to manipulate that so that you aren't affected . . . [to] give you strength, give you balance, give you flexibility and help with pain."

Key asked 6'6", 304-pound defensive end Quinton Dial to hold one arm out to his side and to keep the arm up when Key tried to push it down. Dial, who towered over the 5'8" Key, did so easily. "Now I'm going to do nothing different," Key told the players. "But I'm going to take two fingers, and I'm going to take his cellphone, and I'm going to just put it up against [Dial's] chest." He turned back to Dial. "Take a deep breath, man up to me, O.K.? . . . Two fingers, everything you got on three, O.K.? One, two. . . ."

This time, while holding the phone to Dial's chest, Key easily forced the player's arm down to his side. Dial smirked, bemused. "What happened," Key said, "was the frequencies from the phone, as soon as they came into your energy field, they zapped ya, like a Taser."

And then Key passed out his remedy for the frequencies: stickers, which he calls chips, bearing holograms of a pyramid. Key told the players that on game day they should place the chips on three acupuncture points -- one on the inside of each wrist before they tape their arms (the chips also come embedded in bracelets), and one over the heart. "It's going to help your heart have so much more energy," he said. "Come the fourth quarter, you guys will not be gassed at all."
