After Judge Ginsburg spoke, Clinton took questions - giving Brit Hume (then with ABC) a very undeserved first go.

Hume, of course, began mumbling a totally asinine question about how the president "could disabuse us of the notion..." of something-or-other.

Clinton shook his head, and said: "I've long since stopped believing I can disabuse some of you of anything - and how you could ask something like that after what she just said, is beyond me."
