(269,057 posts)Opening up in late June/early July created one hell of a spike what with the parties and tourists particularly in the West.
Heard there were over 20 positives on the first cruise ship that came in on Monday.
We have the same percentage of assholes here as well and some are in the government..

Now we all suffer.

Lake Arenal is in Costa Rica and it sounds really similar. They are only allowed to drive around on certain days of the week.
After going through this covid hell I truly think that people can adapt -- leaning towards public safety and well-being.
