Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 19th season Friday, August 20 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at 12:10 a.m., exclusively on HBO.

This week features a one-on-one, in-person interview with Andrew Sullivan, blogger of The Weekly Dish on Substack, whose new book is Out on a Limb: Selected Writing, 1989 – 2021.

This week's in-studio panel discussion will include Jackie Calmes, Washington columnist for the Los Angeles Times and author of the new book, Dissent: The Radicalization of the Republican Party and Its Capture of the Court; and Max Rose, former Special Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Defense for COVID-19 and represented New York's 11th district in Congress from 2019-2021. He is a veteran of the U.S. war in Afghanistan, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantry Badge.

4. Sullivan is listenable at times, but he can be a jerk at other times.

Not sure about other two, but appear worth a listen.

I'm not yet familiar with the panelists, but it sounds like Max Rose will have a lot to contribute, both on the Covid pandemic and on Afghanistan.
