Clarissa Ward Takes a Run at Greatness and Fails Obnoxiously. Bleeds Attitude.

CNN plays star-maker with Ward’s self-righteous anger display. Banners read CHAOS, she calls CHAOS, but the scene does not look chaotic. True, waiting for plane. And outside of airport, we know there’s terror door to door. But this lady and this news program are exploiting.

Don’t give me attitude. Report. Let your subjects speak.

Engel is out now. He was getting lambasted on Twitter. He really shit the bed.

She's full of criticism and not journalism. She's grandstanding.

This is parallel to Brian Kilmeade's statement on Fox and Friends of the effect that news anchors shouldn't promote vaccines because that's not objective.

3. They are great when criticizing GOPers, and rightly so. But, say something we'd prefer not to hear

and we hate them.

I think she's doing a good job reporting in a bad and dangerous situation. Don't think we should expect reporters/journalists to cover things up because we don't like the optics.

In extreme situations of suffering, it's hard for any human being to pretend objectivity.

5. Maybe CNN played the wrong Kabul airport scene. Did not match Ward's angry chanting

CHAOS and their own banner. I don’t argue with whatever she has seen in the field. But her tone in regards to this morning’s airport scene was unduly personalized and as with other reporters and other outlets, she jumped to judgement. A plane delayed for reason this morning, and scene orderly—military handling a horrible situation, evacuation, quite well. The truth is one thing, misleading and grand-standing theatrics another.

See Lawrence.

6. I think delays were because we didn't have places to take the refugees. That's not Biden's fault,

but he can kick the rears of some people who aren't doing their jobs and/or don't have needed support.

How in the hell hasn't someone lined up bases to take these people? Are we that incompetent?

Now, incompetents in the military, State Department, intelligence and security agencies, etc., are not Biden's fault -- most have been in their positions before Biden under admins back to george war bush -- but he and Blinken, Austin, etc., need to get things working right and stop the inconsistent messages.

The inconsistent/conflicting messages ain't helping a bit.

11. Its mostly TFG and Miller's fault

other countries don't want to let them if they don't have an ongoing visa to the US (or somewhere). TFG and Steve Miller gummed up the works to prevent any visa applications from being processed. Listen to Rachel's 1st story from Friday.
