Re: FDA approval for vaccines, a general question.

You often hear excuses by the anti-vax crowd such as “I’m not going to be the government’s guinea pig and take a vaccine that only has emergency authorization.”

Also ... some workplaces are saying they won’t mandate a vaccine that is only authorized for emergency use.

So .... the Pfizer vaccine is on track to get full FDA approval by Labor Day. Does anyone think this will bump up vaccinations among the hesitant, and does anyone think we’ll start to see more vaccine mandates?

PTB aren't complete assholes.

But the public? The ones that use that excuse may largely be using it just as an excuse. They are non-thinking idiots and will wait for their "intellectual" leaders to tell them what to believe.

But more mandates will bump up the rate among those who wish to be employed or to visit public establishments in blue states.

Maybe a better chance of surviving legal challenges to mandates?

Just guessing. Not a lawyer.

officially approved"? I don't think so

The fact is that every drug or vaccine that is approved always has potential risks of associated with it.

For critical thinking people, it comes down to risk verses reward

If it gets full approval, they'll just grab onto another excuse.
Right now, EUA instead of full approval status is just convenient for them.
It's obvious, to anybody that either hasn't politicized a deadly disease or thinks they're invincible, that the vaxxes work & they're safe.
I believe there's barely anybody for whom lack of approval is their reason for not getting vaxxed, that isn't just making that up.

It protects you, it protects your neighbors, it protects your workplace, it protects the vulnerable.

There have been 1.2 billion doses given worldwide with what, 3 deaths directly linked to blood clots?

That's like being the 1.2 billionth marine to storm the beaches of Normandy and refusing to attack because of the three ahead of you who were killed. That's what this is.

The greatest generation this is not.

that was developed by the same people
who created the virus?”

As long as you can hear delusional
assholes spouting crap like this in public forums, you’re going to have some
who will never take the vaccine.
We’ll just have to wait until evolution removes them from the gene pool.
