Good to finally know. When someone eventually writes the book on this exit operation, I might even read it.

I would also like to see Taliban accompanying US troops to sites around the country to pick up those who want to leave. If the Taliban are clever, they'd agree to that, because it gets rid of opposition and doesn't immediately make them international pariahs before their regime gets fully underway.
