Two young brothers steer SUV to safety after their father was shot while driving. (Original Post) Laffy Kat Aug 2021 OP
Shit, now you can't even take a drive on a Friday night. TreasonousBastard Aug 2021 #1
Guns are the problem. Way to many people are able to get one. rockfordfile Aug 2021 #2
I wonder what the chances are they'll catch the shooter? Laffy Kat Aug 2021 #3
I suspect it was targeted, not likely random. Worried2020 Aug 2021 #5

It's clear a number of people shouldn't even have a gun.

Right now they don't even know if it was a targeted victim or just random.

.

It was either a very lucky shot, or a trained shooter .

"Their father, a 29-year-old man, had been driving a Toyota Sequoia on Interstate 10 in Houston with his sons, ages 8 and 6, when he was shot "

I used to target shoot decades ago. It takes a lot of practice and concentration just to hit a stationary target.

Effecting a kill shot while moving on a highway takes skill, and motivation . . .

(sigh)

It seems we have a shooting story every few days. Crazy! The south!

reminds me of the wild wild west. I've seen videos of people just running down the street chasing other people and shooting away like it's a normal thing to do.

It saddens me. I live very close to the city and I've wanted to introduce NYC to my granddaughter so she could experience the feeling and excitement of NYC. That wont happen for a while

Awful as this is, their mother could have lost them all.
