Their intent is to destroy existing institutions and set up their own for not only the grift, but also counter-hegemony.

Now they find out privately owned corporations can fire people for racism and not getting vaccinated. They can move jobs out of radical right locales. Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms can just drop them, even their cult leader. Bar associations can disbar them. Other boards can kick them out.

What's the use rigging and subverting democracy when freedom, private property, free speech, and free enterprise can so easily thwart the Trumpies?
