So sad, given Bright's dedication of his life to preventing the deaths of those as his mother.

At least insofar as being a result of some supernatural force meting out reward and punishment based on good and evil.

The universe is governed by physics and chemistry, not wishful imaginings of humans.

is not what Hindus believe. It's a stripped-down version of the term. To them it's equated with the common belief that you reap what you sow, or even the more common phrase 'what goes around comes around.' Another concept is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Not quite the same thing as the other two ideas, but very close. I wish people wouldn't throw the word "karma" around when all they're talking about is a common observation about how to treat others and basic good behavior.

RIP dearest Mom

Dr. Bright, now we know why you’re so cool, just look at who raised you!!

Deepest condolences, good sir; may you find moments of comfort in this swirl of madness and grief

She was fully vaccinated (and a lifelong Democrat) and her family doesn't know how or where she contracted it.
