Singapore names a new variety of orchid for @VP (Papilionanda Kamala Harris)









Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, also had an orchid named after them when they visited the National Orchid Garden in 2013.

Joe Biden was visiting Singapore in his capacity as then-vice president, where he also made a surprise visit to Adam Road Hawker Centre.

But any plant that has the same genetic parentage will be called papiilionada Kamala Harris.

Individual orchid plants often have names. This one might be papilionada Kamala Harris 'pink magic.' If it has an award, that would be listed after its name. papilionada Kamla Harris 'pink magic' AM/AOS
