Remember last year when people almost believed this virus was deadly and we freaked out and shut down? I swear Im almost nostalgic. Now everyone is either panicking or pretending its nothing.
I may have been exposed. The person I was really close to (therapeutic procedure) last week is sick. Maybe Covid, maybe not, but were both (and likely anyone else she sees) getting tested and isolating. And stupid m*****F*****s are doing every damn thing they can to destroy faith in the vaccines and create superspreaders because they are in denial, insane, or just plain inconsiderate to the point of being implicit in a crap ton of suffering and death. I certainly hope I get over it but right now I HATE EVERYTHING. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
(BTW Im not terribly worried. Shes scrupulous beyond scrupulous but DAMMIT!)
UPDATE: Negative!

(14,627 posts)I went to my local pharmacy and used the drive-thru window, so I was able to swab myself. Still waiting on the results.
At least you wan't have to get a brain-tickler swab!

(1,351 posts)The pharmacist or assistant in the window talks you through the whole thing while they observe. Easy peasy.
