And, are these poor people being served hot nutritious meals in flight? Many are HUNGRY!

I heard some of the DoD press conference today. Spokesperson John Kirby very carefully, a few times, explained that US troops were, in fact, going out in helicopters to pick up American citizens to bring them to the airport - on a case by case basis. But, he said, we were not on patrol outside the airport.

Reporter 1: The Brits are going out to retrieve their citizens. Why aren't we?

Reporter 2: Is the Taliban going with US troops when they go get citizens? Are they on patrol together?

But in the early 80's I became an EMT with only 144 hours of medical training. During my 3 year career I had patients die and helped many more live. While I never delivered a baby other crews did with no more training. In a normal birth all that is required is a calm attitude and tying off an umbilical cord...It is done all over the world by just the mother and knowledgeable women with NO "medical training". You might as well ask why no cardiologists are present. Just Saying...
