extremists running Sunrise do. Yesterday, today, tomorrow. EVERY day.

When young people finally became concerned about global warming, power-seeking radicals and populists saw them as a way to enlarge their following. That's what climate is to them -- political fly paper.

The only reason respectable, REAL climate warriors have anything to do with Sunrise is to talk to the young people who came looking for a cause to join. Genuine climate/environmental warriors belong to genuine climate organizations, and when they run for office, which some do every election, they run as Democrats.

Moderates threaten to derail legislation and go through with the threat. Progressives use rhetoric, but are more pragmatic about getting things done.

That's how it has always been.

Idealists who are successful also know how to practice pragmatic politics.

We've all seen who their targets are.

Actually its difficult to watch their climate related protests & not notice them carrying & sipping from disposable plastic water bottles (which are made from petroleum products, but maybe they don't know that), using their lithium battery phones (toxic mined lithium which severely depletes the water tables downstream from the lithium mines) & a few other noticeable things that contradict their committment to the cause..

It's difficult to applaud their call for Climate Catastrophy, when their mentor & message writer, Waleed Shahid is found targeting the very people, (Democrats only apparantly), who are actually writing & working to pass those climate saving legislative bills.
The same Democrats that sounded the Climate call years ago. Their words fell on deaf ears but they are here, years later, legislating for that same crisis.

When the waterways are depleted from lithium battery over-mining, & the petroleum products like disposable water bottles damage wildlife, human life & ocean life, I sure hope its not any one of the young kids of the Sunrise Movement who contributed in some way.
Because.....well. 😬

Maybe Waleed will have moved on to a new movement by that time.
