So I work at a small, Florida state college

In my hall, we're expected to do 5 hours a week for in-person office hours. Last week, the philosophy prof. pops into my office (no mask) and he's laughing it up. I am not amused. He tells me at least he isn't like the humanities instructor who wears his mask.... on his ear... hardy har har.

This week, the tech comes in to put in a new monitor, so I'm wandering the halls. I really can't miss said humanities prof. He's giving the same damn lecture he's been giving for a decade about choices and consequences. True enough... mask on his ear. He says to his class, "So, you don't care about STDs??? "

and I can't even...

small public university
they wanted us to do 10 hours of in-person office hours a week - because apparently administrators have this idea that students are starving to come to in-person office hours. I talked them in to 5 in-person and 5 on-line. I haven't had a single person come for either yet.

My college has too many administrators with nothing to do but send useless COVID updates that read like an old DOS program.
