OK, they are Afghani journalists...but still, it's not just the people who fought with us. They are doing a heroic job and fools like Sasse are calling the effort disgusting. We have now brought out over 110,000 people.

“Journalism” arguably encompasses that group. Facebook didn’t even act until recently to hide the friends lists on Afghani accounts. God, I hate that company.

The media should give supportive or critical coverage if the facts warrant it; not if their community was helped.

FWIW - CNN just had a story about a major Afghan Journalist (who had interviewed the Taliban leader on national TV) who had to evacuate and was able to get a flight out, but the story pointed out that a lot of stringers and support staff weren’t able to. Was that unfair to report?

has not been based in facts. Many of their so-called “experts” are people that have an interest in the defense industry. The media take-down of President Biden has been totally unwarranted.

Honestly...as recently as 5 days ago there were some Americans dragging their feet. I consider the job the admin has done to be heroic and that is the tale history will tell. I wonder what the number will be on the 31st. Also, the Taliban supposedly has agreed to let people out after the 31st. Probably because we have all their money.
