Covid, Leading Cause of Death among Conservative talk show hosts.

This is an updated post that I plan to post whenever I hear that another one bit the dust.

From a few sources I came up with a list of current and past conservative talk show hosts. I am sure this is far from comprehensive, but it is most of the names you will regular run into apart from your smaller local pundits. This list includes some that are gone and some that have changed professions. Rabid pundit talkers such as Scott Apley who died of covid are not on this list and maybe they should be. But out of 77 of the big names in conservative blather, there are at least four dead of covid. This is 5.19 percent so it does not pay to be a denier.

If you take into account that several talk show hosts are vaccinated, and that the death rates are based on those infected and not the general populace, the numbers for talk show hosts dying of covid looks like a strong indication that there is a high risk factor for this group.
My suspicion is that elevated rage and screaming may add to your risk of getting a massive infection. There is some indication that low exposure and illness from covid is much less risky than high exposure. These are people much more likely to get into a close up screaming fight than the average citizen.


Please help update this list and feel free to use this list and make it your own unless you are a Republican, Anti-vaxxer, Libertarian, or Conservative.

who supported and voted for Biden.

He calls himself center right, but the difference here is more like the difference between PNAC and MAGA. He definitely stays on the list but he is probably being careful and be one of the few that keeps the numbers down.

5. Ian Punnett always seemed like an open-minded, left-leaning guy to me

Only ever heard him on Coast2Coast, but haven’t listened to it in years (George Norry sucks).

Has Ian gone to the dark side? From what I know (knew) of him, can’t imagine him ever supporting TFG or being a vaccine denier. He and George Knapp were my favorite hosts (after Art, of course).
