In fact, I'd guess that in 20 years, not to many people will remember the Afghanistan war itself. It had practically no impact on the American culture, economy, or our way of life.

I'm old enough to have been alive during the Korean War, a similarly pointless war. Who talks about that today?

I sent care packages to troops for fifteen years.....yes, some of us DID care. Yes,I included items for the local children.
