Obama on Letterman, uses the word "Terrorists" about Benghazi

Last night David Letterman had a repeat of his Sept. 18th show with Obama. Near the end of the show they discussed the events in Libia from the week before.

Obama said, quote; "Extremist, Terrorist used this (the film protests) as an excuse to attack."

So Romney's "14 Days" bullshit is busted again. That is less than a week after the attacks. So Romney saying it was 14 days is a complete and utter lie. It is untrue. A canard without veracity. A fabrication. Made out of whole cloth. Pulled out of his ass. As far from the truth as the earth is to the sun...

That being the case there couldn't have been any planning involved - it must've been spur of the moment. Egypt's Salafist TV news channel broadcast a statement on the offending video 11th which almost immediately started protest in Egypt which spread to Libya. The attack could only have been planned by those who carried it out if they'd had advance knowledge of the TV broadcast.

It's entirely possible to have a plan in place and wait for the right time to spring it. It would also be reasonable to expect that some sort of protest over something would erupt somewhere on Sept. 11. For example, regarding what happened in Egypt, the film had been out for a while, they CHOSE Sept. 11 to make their comment and stir the pot.

The right will say that Obama was claiming that the attack was tied to the film. Yes, he called them terrorists, but it does not help to have anyone in the administration on record tying the attack to that film. That is how the right wing mind works.

because the attack did happen during the film protests. Just replace excuse for "cover'. The terrorist used the protest as a cover to attack."

The point is we have tape of the President calling them terrorist long before Romney claims he did. HE LIED!!!

Being a lazy chicken-hawk who came up with the idea it sounded enough like a Romney liar attack that he adopted it wiith complete trust. Amazing this is what happens when you reject fact checking and end up sounding like a bigger idiot.

I am even beginning to suspect it could be one of the tough preppy Romney liar boys. How I hope one of the Romney's is willing to take on Lawrence O'Donnell and his invitation.
