Topic: Foreign policy
Air Time: 9:00-10:30 p.m. Eastern Time
Location: Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida (Tickets)
Sponsor: Commission on Presidential Debates
Participants: President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney
Moderator: Bob Schieffer (Host of Face the Nation on CBS)
MY NOTE: Although I don't particularly like the debate format, Schieffer will be a much stronger moderator than Lehrer was. Romney won't be able to get away with the crap he pulled in the first debate.

(3,245 posts)it's not the format that matters.
Foreign policy isn't even within Rmoney's realm of understanding. He lost any talking points on Libya so I doubt Rmoney will try and press that issue. Afghanistan won't be much better for him. Bin Laden's dead so there's another talking point off the table.
Rmoney's "bomb bomb bomb Iran" won't play well. I'm sure the Presidents counter to that is "what, another war?".
I hope the President takes the same talking points that Vice President Biden did with respects to Iran's nuclear ambitions, which is to point out that the delivery system for any type of nuclear device is equally important to having the ability to create it.
