as being stuffed head first down an outhouse hole! Those guys don't sign up for that. Patriotism is understanding that is criminal.

1. 18, 19 and 20-year-olds feel patriotism but most are naive and don't know yet...

that war profiteers (MIC) make their living off of keeping wars going.

2. I always get annoyed when I hear people say "I support the troops," or "Thank you for your service."

It's been a long time since anyone fought to "protect our freedoms." Now they're fighting to either support the military industrial complex or the help our elected leaders earn political capitol.*

*Bush 2 was so anxious to invade Iraq because he saw how his father's favorability ratings went up during the 1st Gulf War.

3. Most of the troops join up for the right reasons, even if it's the wrong reason really.

You shouldn't have to risk your life for those bastards because you're too poor to afford college, raising a kid, or any other number of reasons. We have some RW cowboys that should be screened out, but most are in there for good.
