...what Biden actually said.

Biden saying Afghanistan was yesterday’s news, yesterday’s terror threat. That he’s guided by future threats. How can the taliban, who still deny bin laden was responsible for 9-11, controlling a country in the center of asia not constitute a current and future threat?

Imagine walking away from your workplace friends knowing they may be imprisoned, tortured, or killed. Maybe they will be targeted specifically because of their relationship with you. Their families may also be endangered.

I can't imagine the anguish.

but because their own rule may be unstable. Without their founder Mullah Omar and really not a homogeneous group, they may be subject to takeover by people much more hostile to the US than even they are.They also face others like ISIS-K who will fight them for control of the country.
