One Kabul airport, one target. But slow evacuations, using all of the available airports

would have provided many targets for suicide bombers. Not buying the argument I'm hearing from a guest on MSNBC. It was a crap shoot, either way and I think we got out with fewer mishaps than had we chosen another option.

they are all guessing with claims to some kind of expertise. But they don't really know.

The Taliban was very busy attempting to figure out who was going to run the new government and what roles each of the tribesman was to play, and this gave the Americans a perfect time to get out of the place. It was more important for them to organize to not attack themselves than to organize and attack the Americans. Just an opinion.
