This is imho, indeed calculated to demoralize and divide us.

We saw this recently getting a slam dunk economic bill through our own contingent, struggles getting everyone onboard in the House and Senate.

We need not be on the defensive, but we need to very careful with what we prioritize. We have little margin to risk seats with controversial or unpopular proposals. And to be fair, I think our leadership is doing an excellent job with this by focusing on the economic plan and infrastructure first.
