Mr. Rogan, who was rebuked by federal officials last spring for suggesting on the podcast that young healthy people need not get Covid vaccinations, said that he started feeling sick on Saturday night after he returned from performing in Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale.

“Throughout the night I got fevers, sweats, and I knew what was going on,” he said in a video on Instagram, adding that he isolated himself from his family, staying in a different part of his house.

Mr. Rogan said he was treated with a series of medications including ivermectin, a deworming veterinary drug that the Food and Drug Administration has warned Covid-19 patients against taking and that has repeatedly been shown as ineffective for them in clinical trials. He also mentioned prednisone, a steroid, and a “vitamin drip.”

I had to google who Joe Rogan is; never heard of him before. I presume he's considered some sort of "influencer" on social media.

"I got back from the road Saturday night and was feeling very weary. I had a headache, and I just felt rundown," he said in the video.

The 54-year-old comedian isolated from his family and started getting "fevers and sweats" that night, he said. Rogan tested positive for COVID the following morning, and began taking several medications, including monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-Pak and prednisone, he said. He also took an NAD drip and a vitamin D drip.

"I did that three days in a row," he said. "And here we are on Wednesday, and I feel great. I really only had one bad day — Sunday sucked."

I don't know when he officially stops "having" it but apparently he's feeling fine now. He did get the monoclonal antibodies which from what I've heard is a pricey treatment.

across all the platforms. He has global reach, so many in my age cohort (18 to 30yo) here in Sweden, for instance, listen to him.
