Bullies

This just happened yesterday.

http://www.wlox.com/story/19863157/no-formal-charges-yet-in-george-co-students-assault

This is a quote from his mother on Facebook:

"This is my 14 year old son Austin Stokes. He attends George County High and was beaten by a senior twice his size. Austin has cerebral palsy and he is only able to use the right side of his body as the left side is paralyzed. I was told by officials that SIMPLE assault is the only charge the attacker will be charged with. Austin suffers from seizures, is legally blind and could not defend himself. The offender has not been arrested and I ask, how is this fair? Where in the world is it ok to punch a special needs child in the face?? He was hit so hard that he became airborne, spun around and busted his mouth on the concrete and was unconscious!! Something has to be done."

They would probably be being charged as an adult. Why is beating children ok so long as it is in school by much larger and older young people?

I hope she sues the school to the point that they are taken to their knees! They were negligent that this happened at all.

but in this case, chances are that Senior is either 18 or close to being 18 so beat the shit out of him and apparently you can only be charged with simple assault.

I first thought this was the same one but there was another boy who got beaten in the boys bathroom on Wednesday.

"School district administrators did not contact police or send an ambulance for Louie’s injures. He has several fractures in his cheekbone that will require reconstructive surgery. He also has a broken nose and damage to his eye along with a concussion."
