It's not always just about it being 'by their rules', rather, sometimes it's about it being 'not with them'.

The anti-abortion crowd is chock-full of men who aren't getting laid (or want to be having it with someone else), and they're bitter about it.

I think it's easy to get caught up in thinking it's entirely about 'controlling' women's reproductive systems', when it may be even more basic than that in a lot of cases.

In many cases, I think it's about punishing women for having sex, period ... when *I* am not getting any, or not the kind I want.

It's a way of lashing out, in bitterness ... that you can find other people to agree with you about, and hide your REAL motive, couched in religious dogma.

3. I'm thinking we're both right.

Some men are just control freaks when it comes to women. (My father was like that so that’s what I’m most familiar with)

And some men are bitter that women are having more *fun* than they are having, without facing any consequences.

5. As a lifelong feminist I think men hate strong women. Period

The history of thousands of years is about patriarchy setting themselves above all else. They have set civilization up to benefit them above everyone else. Making women be of lesser value is vital in order for men to have supremacy. So historically women were forced into an inferior standing in order for men to hang on to their supremacy.

Women have always and will again find a way around the restrictions. Unfortunately it will lead to illness and death like it did before Roe v Wade.

The problem with all this is that everyone knows it.
