Can state tax dollars really be used to pay bounty to entrap people helping a woman seek abortion? Are there any other instances where state tax dollars are used for bounty? Is human bounty hunting still legal?

(15,067 posts)is that the "bounty" is paid by the person being sued, not the state.
The Uber driver taking the woman to the clinic is sued by the crazy anti-abortion person. Uber driver loses in court. Uber driver has to pay the $10,000 plus legal costs to the crazy one.
This is how they have gotten around the Federal Courts. It's not being done by the State of Texas.
