Broad street turned into a river and my car was parked there. Probably 2+ feet of water, my car had about 6 inches on the floor. Still running but a lot of the electronics are fucked. Have to take it in tomorrow to see the extent. Basement had some water too. Bummed.

Lotsa folks in my area are apparently in much worse shape. I’m enormously conflicted right now. I have a huge important deadline tomorrow to submit a critical proposal for funding so my organization can have increased capacity for our COVID vaccination efforts, but now my immediate community also needs critical assistance I can help with. I have a busy day tomorrow and heavy decisions. I’m hoping I can get an extension on the proposal.

all the ones ruined tonight. Maybe they’ll start making them the old-fashioned way again -without computers.

when she was flying back to the Northeast since I was worried about the rain. Fortunately she won't be flying until Fri. No one else was concerned except for me and when I called tonight none were even aware of the weather crisis. Good thing I watch the news since they were clueless.
