That's the way these states are acting, passing these arcane abortion laws. They are being passed on personal beliefs being put over the benefits of society as a whole.

Due to the lack of an established religion a vast number of wacky sects have originated and prospered in the United States.

All these religious beliefs (no, personal beliefs used as a cudgel) need to be scrubbed from the laws, local, state, and federal.
Unscientific, anecdotal, myth based wishful thinking should not guide laws for other people's uterii...
or anything else, for that matter.
White Supremacy paired with ignorance is the other virus we've got no cure for, but we can vaccinate against with education and reading books.

There's wide agreement on:
- life begins at conception and terminating it thereafter is murder, and
- homosexuality is sin.
You can drive a lot of politics with those two concepts.
