It's a mongrel act carried out by the lowest of the low; the weakest of the weak and the most blowhard of bullies.
I think mainly of inexperience girls and women and those older females suffering physical, financial or psychological coercion.
There are good people and organisations in the US; they truly need to step up now and protect these vulnerable members of society. I'm writing this from first hand experience. I survived - many wont.

This is such a gut-punch that some still cant take it in. But others are already on their feet and fighting. And still others are sharing resources and information.
I dont know how we will get through this, but we must.
I remember someone commenting about Trumps border policies and especially the part Stephen Miller played in them: The cruelty is the point. That is Trumps legacy take any nasty political or national impulse and make it worse, make it more cruel.
I have been a member of Planned Parenthood for over 50 years. We wont go back.

It's a rapists delight. Keep incest in the family! But much more than this, it codifies the inability of men to refrain from 'spreading their seed' whether there is consent or not.
This last point is, IMO, the crux of the matter. Do humans have free will? Or are they captive to animal instinct?
This paradox contradicts most evangelical teachings; they desperately wish to place humankind above the animals but cannot admit that the same base instincts apply.

The cruelty of this bill is immense and the fallout immeasurable. Rapists are free to "spread their seed" and girls and women are punished, their lives and livlihood imperiled. I weep for my younger sisters.
