and info about how to get it and use it if you live in TX and may need help in the future with your body and your choice. I looked in the past threads but can't find it. Does anyone know where this info is?
This is useful info and I'd thought I bookmarked it and can't find it now. Did anyone else see this post?

(32,421 posts)from taking the ferry to England for abortions... this was decades ago when ireland had strict anti abortion laws. anti choicers would scope out young women on the ferries to try to stop them. it may have also been codified into law... no getting an abortion from anywhere...
I'm sure the GOP is thinking every possible scenario... just like they are with voter suppression laws.

(1,666 posts)That must have become a default all young women cant cross really fast. All would have been suspect; at least that is what it sounds like.
And yep, this only the beginning. Theyll tighten up the workarounds later.

I have a thread on here with information including where to order very inexpensive pregnancy tests to keep around (40 for under $13) and generic Plan B($8.29, compared to upwards of $50 at a pharmacy).

(51,567 posts)I am not too familiar with this but it seemed like you can get the pill through some alternative route if you live in TX and can't get it there.

(29,671 posts)Is the name of the organization that does mail order abortion pills.

(29,671 posts)And a lawsuit won't hold up. They are allowing women in Texas to pre-order wo proof of pregnancy to keep it on hand, in case it is
needed.

(51,567 posts)Is there a time deadline or will this go on indefinately? Or until the lawmakers/men discover this route and put a stop to it?
xmas74
(29,671 posts)I believe it's indefinite. It arrives in an unmarked package so no one would know what's in it.
There's a collective I won't promote on here that will include it with an embroidery piece. You're not paying for the pills; you're paying for the embroidery. The pills are a free gift.
(I won't promote them yet because I don't want them shut down. If Aid Access is blocked we will need others to step up.)

(102,127 posts)Women who care-- especially those with daughters, nieces, friends or who remain pre-menopausal might want to research this. Just saying.
I will avoid Texas like the plague from here forward and will even find excuses to avoid business travel there but I feel bad for those living under Taliban Xian law. Just as I do those women living in Afghanistan today. The RW men of your state really hate Texas women. You will never convince me this is a true devotion to life. It is a true devotion to POWER OVER WOMEN.
Famous reformed evangelical, Frank Schaeffer appeared on Joy Reid and agrees with me:

Frank Schaeffer (born August 3, 1952) is an American author, film director, screenwriter, and public speaker. He is the son of the late theologian and author Francis Schaeffer. He became a Hollywood film director and author, writing several internationally acclaimed novels depicting life in a strict evangelical household including Portofino, Zermatt, and Saving Grandma.
While Schaeffer was a conservative, fundamentalist Christian in his youth, he has changed his views, becoming a liberal Democrat and a self-described Christian atheist.[3][4] He lives north of Boston.[4]

If referring to Plan B, it should be referred to as emergency contraception as it does not cause an abortion or miscarriage, it simply prevents the fertilized egg from implanting inside the uterus. The Plan B (levonorgestrel) emergency contraception pill also states that is does not work if one is already pregnant, it is also taken before pregnancy is or isn't determined. Now if referring to Mifeprex or RU486 , that would be considered an early abortion pill.
I believe wording is imperative and I hope that you find this article useful.
