Republican Strategy for 2022 and 2024

Forget about the betrayal of our country and the attack upon our Capitol. "Look at the terrible job Joe Biden did in Afghanistan! He should be impeached!"

They will attack relentlessly. Anything to move people away from their own incompetence and traitorous acts.

They own the media message machine. They always have. Just as Hillary Clinton had favorable polls over 60% against Donald Trump in 2016, and by the time they finished their hatchet job on her, her favorable ratings were in the 40's, even below Donald Trump. That is what they do.

No matter how disastrous and incompetent and divisive and harmful for our country, the Trump Administration was previously, Republicans are able to put their train of thought on a different track.

Attack! Attack! Tear down Joe Biden and Kamala. To a large degree, they have already accomplished much of their goal.

The GOP needs to keep their eye on the ball though. Staying on Afghanistan brings a disconnect from the public - it’s over so let’s move on. Their winner (from 2020 results) is crime and scary people in the dark of night. They did well everywhere with that (thanks to the media) except in Trump’s election.

....they are more focused on governing and passing legislation.

Even as the Republicans are chopping at them with a machete.

The right wing SCOTUS sat on its hands and let it take effect and women all over the country are not pleased.

It's going to have an effect on mid-term voting, and not a good one for repulicans.

President Biden is actually VERY good at messaging! He ignores the nonsense, which no response, is a response and as you said keeps governing...and is getting things done. This is what Americans want.
Yes, the Afghan withdrawal saw his ratings fall, but 71% of Americans wanted to see troops out of there. I believe those ratings will come back up.

Two other things sadly, male of the species and he’s not Hillary.

One final thing, the gqp are very unpopular, much more so than when Hillary was running.
