I submit John Roberts sided with the minority dissenters for appearances. To make his court look moderate. To cover his own ass.
That's my opinion not some other reporting. Just me.

He is just as radical as Alito, Thomas, et al. but he's trying to make himself look like an apolitical justice, which he is not.

I know the conservatives on the bench would love to get rid of abortion, but this bounty thing is just plain old bizarre. They make a law and can't enforce it, except with some bizarre civil lawsuit thing.....
The other three are crazier than a lunatic asylum, so I don't expect much from them...

Thankfully, hes not as reliably conservative as he once was.
Thats about the best we can hope for at this point.

We all saw the writing on the wall even before Boof was appointed. We knew they were all lying during their confirmation hearings.
