One party is trying to pass laws to restrict voting. One party is deploying thugs to intimidate voters at the polls. One party is putting up billboards like this in minority communities. One party is having their people get arrested for throwing completed voter registration forms into a dumpster.

Some day - SOME DAY - the fucking complacent complicit goddam useless "mainstream" get-fucked media will actually call this fascist shit for what it is. Even this article below tap-dances around the fact that IT IS THE FUCKING REPUBLICANS AND THEIR RIGHT-WING ALLIES who are pulling this shit.

I get so angry that lately I am all too often reduced to tears at what this country is becoming. I just thank god I have my 73 year old dad as a sounding board - he agrees 100%. My mother, on the other hand (they're long divorced but good friends) is a Fox Watching Teatard who actually said to me "Romney doesn't LIE! They've PROVED that everything he says is factual". When I realize that there are many more people that believe the shit my Mom does, and not enough who see right through the bullshit, then add the fact that the 1% are not only buying our government but stealing our votes through suppression, intimidation, and just plain old rigging -- that's when the tears flow.

In my darkest moments I can't help but think nothing we do will change it. That if they steal this election it will seal the deal and our democracy will be forever altered for the worse.

If Obama is re-elected we cannot afford to be complacent, nor can we let those assholes try and tell us we were just being paranoid. We MUST DEMAND that Citizen's United is overturned, that paper ballots be used from now on, and that the corporate monopoly be reversed in the media (I think the Founder's feelings about a free press pretty much speaks for itself).

Nothing is going to change unless we make a lot of noise about this. A LOT of noise.

at least cover the billboards with cloth and sue the owners and the advertisers.

Deploy our own people to watch and report the thugs who are hired to intimidate voters.

Surround the media - bombard them with calls, emails, personal visits. We have the numbers.
