Where are Texas penises in all this?

I am pretty sure there was a penis involved in every abortion. Where's the bounty on their little heads? Why are they only going after women, and then, only women thought to have failed to keep an aspirin between their knees when on dates?

How about a companion law giving women the ability to sue the penis that got them in trouble for the full $10K?

Yes, primarily the law prevent woman from having abortion but the man will get into trouble too if he suggested the abortion.

First the disclaimer: IANA Lawyer

IMHO:

They only come into play after birth and only if the woman even cares to remain in contact with said Penis (Rapist), has a desire to disclose said Penis (family member, fear of retribution, etc.) can prove that particular Penis is responsible (paternity tests and legal recourse costs money) and if said Penis remained in State or actually had anything worthwhile (poor, deadbeat, etc.).

In short the woman bears all of the weight here. The only thing which really remains is putting a Scarlet letter on a woman's clothing or putting them in sort of Convent Laundry.

I live in Texas - Abbott and the Republicans in government are a weird amalgam of Taliban and Fascist-wannabes..

about how men in Texas could now have sex with as many women as they were able to and then rat them all out at $10k a pop. I know that's a hypothetical but, I wouldn't put it past any republican male in Texas to actually attempt it.

Disgusting!

They're dumb enough to believe all the impregnated women would opt for an abortion. Those men would most likely skip out on child support.

It’s not his fault she got herself pregnant. Birth control is the woman’s responsibility. Why should he have to pay for her manicures?

go after the father for child support until the child turns 18. Men should never be allowed to get off the hook so easily. I think they may find out that this could pretty much fuck up their lives as well. Especially if they are married already.

Reversible when, and if, a female partner agrees to a pregnancy and he proves himself ready, responsible and financially secure enough to support the child no matter what happens between him and the mother.

When you force women into giving up autonomy and then offer people a life-changing amount of money to go full Stasi on them, essentially putting a bounty on women's heads if they don't comply, you are treating them like they are subhuman. I think this is going to open up women to even more sexual abuse. Men, and unfortunately all the "pick-me" women out there now feel it's their right to force a woman to carry their seed to term. A lot of women and children are going to suffer because of this bullshit. Men will not be expected to pay child support and rapists will get to force their victim into giving birth in some cases. This is all so vile.
