They're going after medication abortion next.

Cruel Bastards ....

As a novel six-week abortion ban has significantly curtailed abortion care in Texas, another bill, aimed at restricting medication abortion, is set to become law in the state.

The Legislature this week advanced the bill, called Senate Bill 4, which would limit access to medication abortions for many. For now, patients can obtain the medication up until 10 weeks of pregnancy in the state. The measure would prevent physicians from administering it to people who are more than seven weeks pregnant and prohibit the pills from being mailed in Texas.

The bill is on the desk of Gov. Greg Abbott, who had yet to sign it Thursday afternoon.

Abbott, a Republican, said in a tweet Wednesday that "no freedom is more precious than life itself" and that "Texas will always defend the right to life."

It's like citrus plants can't be mailed to Texas and other citrus producing states...This is due to citrus greening, which is killing citrus..
States can control what can be mail ordered in their state...

Now if Susie in New Mexico wants to send something to Mary in Texas, that's a different story. And Ag departments rarely search private vehicles along I-10 at state borders anymore...

They have been helping women obtain medical abortion for years.

Packaging from overseas is very discreet and not readily detectable.

Another measure, for young women keep a pregnancy test available at all times. If your period is just a few days late, test..don’t wait. And for gods sake..DO NOT tell anyone if your are pregnant

in Texas. I expect that to only increase.

The only freedoms more precious than life itself in Texas are gun freedoms, and freedoms to spread deadly diseases all over the place, including to children.

If "no freedom is more precious than life itself," explain the permitless carry of long guns law you just signed.

he should be defending the actualized lives within his state, the ones held hostage by MAGA supporters refusing to be vaccinated, his own idiotic defiance when it comes to masking and other medically sound practices.

The man is a disgusting hypocrite!

… as abortifacients. According to their lies, IUDs are abortion-inducing instruments because they prevent the implantation of a fertilized EGG. Hormonal birth control pills likewise.

So, once they pass this new bill, I will bet you anything (like maybe a $10,000 reward) they go after contraceptives next.

Blessed be the fruit.
