Rather than a wringing of hands, complaining about Democrats etc
How about we finally get it through everyone that casually votes or is indifferent towards elections, we teach them a very important lesson.
No matter the office, ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES! Consequences to EVERYONE, those that voted as well as those that didn't.
Pissed about zoning laws etc in the city you live? VOTE!
Pissed about taxes, schools etc in the state you live? VOTE!
Pissed that your US Senator, Congressman or President isn't getting things done that YOU support? VOTE!
What we need is MASSIVE voting rights bills to protect our right to vote as well as MASSIVE voter registration and here is the final key; GET OUT THE VOTE!
BAD SHIT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DO NOT VOTE FOR DAMN GOOD CAPABLE DEMOCRATS THAT WILL DO AS WE WANT THEM TO ONCE THEY REACH OFFICE!
I am not at all happy with the decision of this current Supreme Court re Texas though I can take comfort knowing, I did vote and drive as many as possible to the polls when it's election day.
We will eventually overcome. We are the majority in this nation but to do so, GET PEOPLE REGISTERED AND GET THEM TO VOTE!
