11 House Republicans send letters to 13 telecom companies vowing to "pursue all legal remedies" if they comply with the Jan. 6 committee's records request.
"Please be advised that the undersigned do not consent to the release of confidential call records or data," it concludes.

I wonder if these folks read the Terms and Conditions when they signed up for service with these phone companies? Cuz my guess is that there were definitely clauses stating that the companies will comply with legal subpoenas.
So they can yell "I do not consent" all they want, but they already consented.
There were also probably forced arbitration clauses, meaning they won't be able to sue the companies either.

They will probably get a judicial opinion before they cooperate with the request of the Commission.
They will only release the information if they are told that the law requires it.
