isn't as concerned with protecting women's rights, voting rights, etc instead. We need to tax the hell out of the 1%.

Texas is the test case for corporate America's transition from democratic governance to corporate governance.

Two of these, AT&T and Dell, are listed as the "just" companies LOL, and Forbes loves to promote "justice" capitalists.

Was unnecessary. Even when I do a search you don't always catch the previous post. A number of my posts have been duplicated and once even triplicated but it wasn’t worth it to scold the posters.

There's no rule about duplicates in GD like there is for LBN.
And, things come & go off the first page of GD, I don't think there's anything wrong with a duplicate thread about an interesting topic.
In LBN, we're supposed to search before we post. In GD, we post what interests us. And, that's ok by me.

are easing up lately since many people really do miss the first OP and need another notice.

I hear you. It's not necessary when all people are doing is trying to share and inform.

let 87+ major universities support 260 xlimbaugh stations

corporate america's hold over a lot of pols is through the local republican radio stations, and a lot of the loudest ones depend on university andd pro sports to bring in the ad dollars. get a few to start looking for apolitical alts and the rest will have to follow or lose many advertisers who never supported the fascist lies but were there for convenience and discounts offered in exchange for placement choice.

if corporate america paid $1000/hr, 1200 stations doing 15hrs/day are worth $90M/week or $5B/yr - and it's all FREE for republicans and corporate interests. right now they'r e working overtime with massive hypocrisy blaming biden and dem politician for covid deaths and global warming disaster response

so when people complain about money in politics remember that that actually enables assholes like manchin by creating made-to-order constituencies for global warming denial, for instance

dems need to figure it out
