REAKING: Florida, which reports a backlog of COVID-19 deaths every Thursday, has added 1,338 new deaths, up 48% from last week

So much for relying on monoclonal antibodies instead of vaccines.

I don't think they even have to be actually diagnosed with covid.

everyone who wants it, even if not infected. Can people get this treatment on demand in all states? Or is it only available for rich people and Florida residents?

7. Florida is doing goofy things with reporting deaths, which

is resulting in artificial decrease in worldometer's data.
Basically, they are reporting death for the date that death occurred, and that results in this artificial drop, since it takes a while to process the death. Let's say somebody died two weeks ago, but Fl only reported it now. However, death will be added to the deaths that occurred two weeks ago.

The OP mentions an adjustment on Thursdays, which is a euphemism.
It really means they're saving money by compiling the vast bulk of their data weekly instead of daily.
They report 10-30 deaths a day, then on Thursday, update the whole dataset with 1,500 deaths.
Looks like 20 per day, then later it shows it was actually 234 over the last week.
By then, the 20 per day gets cemented into the number challenged & the other 1,500 never get considered.
How convenient.
