all that jumping around and shit forces them to breathe harder. This blows the Covid right out of the stadium.

Right?

No?

As usual, big build up for the Tar Heels and so far, meh.

I looked up the Blacksburg hospital stats. Down from 96%
occupancy in early August to about 82.5% now. Some room to accommodate more Covid cases.

Looks like a super spreader event to me.

(at least).

I rather doubt that is true of the Tarheels, though. Do you know?

that ran out to attend a Tar Heel player who was down.

The Heels have their first home game next week. About 80% of Carolina students are vaxxed and those who aren't have to undergo testing twice weekly, I think. Faculty are about 90% vaxxed. Thanks to the disgusting Republican Board of Governors, no way they would allow vax requirements.

Glad to see VA Tech is throwing out students who refuse to be vaccinated. Apparently 140 plus already.

It is insane to think of spending all that $$ to send your son or daughter (or to go yourself) if everyone is not vaccinated. Just insane.

No. Let's not get carried away. Most people still survive Covid, their valiant attempts to the contrary notwithstanding.

They will probably kill off some friends, family, acquaintances and complete strangers in the process, but they're not all going to die.

Very little possible risk of Covid spread. There have been hundreds of professional baseball games this summer with cumulative totals of millions in attendance. There have been no Covid issues.
