Two little bits of bright reflecting the future?

The RW funded California recall appears to be failing by a margin that seems to be growing.

Texas has conspired with the Supremes to do a deed they have been trying to do for 40 years. Now they have done it and in the process may have spawned a political tidal wave bent on destroying them.

These would seem to augur well for the future.

The last thing we need is Larry Elder in ANY position of power.

Bad enough that he's had a microphone for as long as he has.

Regular Republicans didn't actually want to do anything about abortion because it's such a great wedge issue. Whip up hysteria about it for elections and then forget about it. The radicalized nuts who are now the party don't understand.

It was so obvious they loved the wedge issue but never wanted to actually do anything to fire up the opposition. Now they have stepped in it big time. The crazed religious rights biggest win will turn out to be their biggest mistake.

in a Pew poll a few years ago (roughly 1/4 of Democrats ANTI abortion).

Just maybe some of the pro-choice Pubs who accepted -- while abortion was legal -- their majority's anti- position will become more...problematic.
