Evidence this AM that most people are post - COVID, but sadly, COVID

is not post people.

We perused the local apple festival here. essentially a state fair positioned on main street ( the usual...rides, music, big turkey legs, fried stuff, and crafts).

Masks? My wife and I were in the 0.5% max. I felt we witnessed a super spreader event.

So sad. No words, really.

All individuals 2+ are required to wear masks in all indoor settings regardless of vaccination status.

Prior to this, however, hardly anyone wore a mask inside the stores, & no one wore a mask outside.

This is after having one in place from March something 2020 to June 7, 2021. People seem to be cooperating pretty well from what I've seen so far (at least in my neck of the woods). 🤞

Um, Not real big on crowded crowds crowding together.

No Apple festival last year, and our numbers are worse.

Sadly, not nearly enough masks in the area, and all sorts of out of town plates this weekend--took ten more minutes getting to the other side of town yesterday afternoon.

Love the crafty stuff, and checking out the Hendo bears, but I'll take a hard pass this year.

Stay Safe, NHL!!

Farmers mkt (our regular Sat AM thing). We aren't into crowds.

Happily back in our cool back yard with the dogs.

California transplant. It has a certain Lake Tahoe/Santa Cruz without the ocean feel here.

I used to read about DU meet up, years ago. Lurked since '03.
Maybe we need secret hand signals....

have a good weeked!

I saw very few masks. I was off by myself, so no worries, but the trip into town surprised me.
