(146,302 posts)if there is no evidence of an abortion. The name of the woman would be essential in any lawsuit. Otherwise, there is no evidence that any abortion took place. The defense would simply say, "What abortion?" "The abortion of the fetus of an unnamed woman" is not evidence of an abortion. "What woman?" is the response. No woman; no abortion.
That is a fatal flaw in this law. Either that or the woman in the video is lying through her vampire-like teeth.

(146,302 posts)That's basic in the legal system. You must have actual evidence or your case is tossed out.

(10,429 posts)It's not really the Gladys Kravitz-types that will be filing the lawsuits. Someone, or some organizations like these crackpots, has a plan and that law will enable their "fundraising".

Elizabeth Graham
Director
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Elizabeth graduated from Rockhurst College. In 1994, Elizabeth moved to Houston, Texas to pursue graduate studies at the University of St. Thomas.
Elizabeth and Jim were married in 1997, and she accepted full-time employment with Texas Right to Life in September of 1998. They and their staff of 25 have grown Texas Right to Life into the largest Pro-Life organization in Texas with a membership of over 250,000 households.
Through Texas Right to Lifes Family Assistance Program, Elizabeth has advocated for and worked with countless families whose ailing loved ones faced difficult medical ethics decisions and the futility process at hospitals across Texas. Texas Right to Life is the only organization to help families navigate the transfer process through the imbalance of power in the hospital system.
