I'm not clear on the cost. And I remember that you can get abortion pills for about $8 on Amazon.

(22,462 posts)I don't know how Amazon manages to sell them. But I did hear that the day after, (abortion) pill is not different than a regular birth control pill, just that you take a bigger dose.
But I am not an expert and I'm not sure of anything I just said.

(9,257 posts)Plan B is available OTC, the other is not. Most states make you jump through many hoops to get the actual abortion pill, and pharmacists cant dispense it, but you must go to a clinic and deal with the waiting periods, protesters and all that other happy horseshit. But now there is 1 site (above) where you can get the abortion pill before you may need it. No doubt theyll find a way to shut it down.

(25,134 posts)And Indian pharmacies will not accept credit cards...
Indian pharmacies only accept e-checks or bitcoins. Hacking has been an issue with e-checks. I have no idea how to use bitcoins...
Me trying to purchase Latisse from India:

You also have to worry about safety of Indian produced pharmaceuticals. Now Latisse is topical and I used to purchase from California with a credit card, because this outfit in California would purchase it in bulk...But then that stopped and now I gotta purchase from India. (However, the biggest risk is being hacked via e-check)
Honestly, I would just cross state lines and visit a doctor. Often Indian pharmaceuticals don't come in discrete boxes. And customs gets them and tosses them.

(16,281 posts)For one thing, Texas is huge, and some Texans live a couple hundred miles from a state line. And not everyone has a car.
It's good to know about alternatives for people who can't travel easily.

(1,910 posts)There will never be one case actually brought. The Repugs know actually bringing a case would allow this law to be challenged on 1000 different levels and exposed and destroyed in court. And cross suits would fly back at the 'private citizen' who brought the case with federal civil rights violations that no Texas judge can shield them from.
This is a massive scare tactic and it is working.
