Well, he bought the farm --anti-vax asshole.

This starts on 8/10 when he admits to hospital with trouble breathing. He is diagnosed with Covid and on the 13th, he signs himself out of hospital because he can't stand the hospital's regimentation.

He showed 'em who's boss.

Later that day, he is F.B- posting at a local bar, with glasses of beer that his friends bought him to celebrate his beating covid without taking the vaccine.. He includes comments about sheeple getting the vaccine.

8/16, he is back in hospital because he can't breathe. ventilator comes next, followed by a stroke.

Today, he died.

means they don't really need their constituents any more. Democrats are unlikely to pass any federal level reform bills thanks to people like Manchin and Sinema, and I'd bet an imaginary dollar that the far right Supreme Court won't strike any of them down.

Given my way, I would have put the dude in a Taxi to the next town or told the ambulance to keep driving the second time he showed up in the emergency department.

How old was this brain surgeon?

I have a sneaking suspicion the fact that the hospital didn’t serve alcohol may have had something to do with it.

He was sick enough with Covid that the hospital let him take up a bad. He left because he didn’t like the hospital’s routines. He went straight to a bar.

Could be just me, but it appears the boy liked his liquor. A lot.

Like, enough to die for.

All the dude had to do was say "Hey doc. I drink. Like, a LOT." They would have thrown some Ativan at him which might have helped him calm down and even breathe a little better, and it would have taken the edge off missing that beef so badly.

I think you're probably right.

TFG and people like him have access to monoclonal antibodies.

That stops the virus in it's tracks - if you have it.

And it's safe to get a shot of that even if you don't carry the virus.

I bet TFG and others get a weekly shot, just to be on the safe side.

It's not for normal people, of course.

When you are a little sick, you know it.

When you are really sick, you get delusional - blame your condition on your environment, if you could only get out and do something normal, you would be ok.

In his case, his 'normal' was going to the pub for a smoke, drink, yarn, whatever.

Not the first time someone has said . . . I'm fine! . . . .just before the final curtain closed.

Also, Ayn Rand was not a libertarian in fact she hated them.

This was said by Rand..." I’d rather vote for Bob Hope, the Marx Brothers, or Jerry Lewis [than a candidate from the Libertarian Party]".

"What is Ayn Rand's philosophy?
Objectivism is a philosophical system developed by Russian-American writer Ayn Rand. ... Rand described Objectivism as "the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute".

Objectivism's main tenets are that reality exists independently of consciousness, that human beings have direct contact with reality through sense perception (see direct and indirect realism), that one can attain objective knowledge from perception through the process of concept formation and inductive logic, that the proper moral purpose of one's life is the pursuit of one's own happiness (see rational egoism), that the only social system consistent with this morality is one that displays full respect for individual rights embodied in laissez-faire capitalism, and that the role of art in human life is to transform humans' metaphysical ideas by selective reproduction of reality into a physical form—a work of art—that one can comprehend and to which one can respond emotionally."
