1. Larry is a major hurricane - will create a mess on several coasts

but thankfully will remain a fish storm

That is a hellova well-defined eye of the storm. But good to know it's likely going to miss landfall.

5. It always amazes me that major hurricanes have such a perfect formation

but are so lethal.

3. The remnant of Ida has brought heavy rain to eastern Canada. Now Larry is

a category 3 hurricane with winds of 120 mph and the track shows it heading right
for eastern Canada. Stay safe, everyone!

6. Ida left a trail of destruction

from Haiti, Jamaica, the Caymans, Cuba and from Louisiana up the coast to Canada.
This was one for the record books.
