TFG takes a swipe at Catholics and Jews who did not vote for him

Former president Donald Trump complained about Catholics and Jews who did not vote for him in the 2020 election despite all he did for their communities.

Trump made the comments in a campaigning call on Thursday organized by the religious group Intercessors for America.

"I did a lot for the Catholics. And I don't know, you know, I'm a little bit surprised that we didn't do better with the Catholic vote," Trump said.

"I think now they would give us their vote. I think we got about 50% of the vote. And yet, we did a lot for the Catholic vote. So we'll have to talk to them. We're gonna have to meet with the Catholics."

You might recall that during the election, Pope Francis had some harsh words for the "Republican" saying, "A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian." This led to a news cycle where, I swear to God ("you're going to hell&quot , people on the Right like Sean Hannity, basically asked who the Pope is to say someone is not Christian. So I, like many others, was eager to see how the Pope received our president who stands for everything that real Catholicism (often at odds with The Church as an institution) is opposed to. Short answer? Pope Francis does not like Donald Trump.
