This won't happen but I wish the pentagon would close all the military installations in Texas

And move their operations to other bases and installations around the country.

Think of the disruption involved if families have to move, particularly now that school has started. This would lose a lot of votes for Democrats if President Biden implemented such a plan.

My daughter and son n law in Air Force moved there and stayed when he retired this summer because a lot of companies give help to vets and retired military.

It requires congressional approval to close or move a military unit/installation.
